CITIJUNK provides a domestic and commercial waste removal and recycling service for homes and businesses right across London. We recognise that the way in which we manage waste has an impact on the environment and the communities in which we operate. In line with this commitment, CITIJUNK will:

• Ensure that responsibility for environmental issues is clearly understood by all employees and that all activities are designed to protect and enhance the environment and prevent harm to human health.
• Comply with, and wherever possible exceed, all relevant legislative requirements and approved codes of practice.
• Encourage waste minimisation, composting, re-use, recycling, and energy recovery from waste, and reduce the amount of waste to landfill.
• Use recycled products and renewable energy resources to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
• Provide information, training and support for all employees to increase their awareness, knowledge and sensitivity to environmental issues.
• Use suppliers that adhere to the same environmental standards that we do wherever possible.
• Set environmental objectives and targets and monitor our environmental performance to ensure continuous improvement.
• Implement and maintain the EN ISO 14001 Environmental Management System.
• Review this policy at regular intervals and revise it where necessary.
• Communicate this policy to employees, the public, customers, suppliers and shareholders.
