Opening hours and other important stuff
- CITIJUNK’s call centre is open between 7am and 11pm, 7 days a week.
- We operate our rubbish clearance, junk removal and recycling services between 7am and 9pm, 7 days a week.
- We collect junk in handy two-hour timeslots and call to let you know when we are within 30 minutes of your home or business address.
- In most cases, we charge by volume. You will only be charged by weight for really heavy materials such as concrete and rubble.
- For health and safety reasons, we do not currently handle hazardous substances such as asbestos and clinical and chemical waste.
- We do our very best to offer guidance on likely prices over the phone. However, we can only confirm exact costs when we see what junk there is to take away. Should you choose not to accept our offer, you are entirely free to cancel the transaction.
- At 16.4 cubic yards our truck containers are bigger than those of our closest competitors. They are also almost three times the size of a domestic skip, yet you only pay for the amount of junk we take away. Neither do we pass on any parking or congestion fees.
- 0ur highly trained truck teams are licensed and insured - we carry I.D. and waste carrier cards and take care of all paperwork!
Unavoidable supplements on some items
- Government regulations mean we are forced to pay extra fees to dispose of certain items such as refrigerators, televisions, monitors, fluorescent tubes and tyres.
- Unfortunately, we must pass on these charges, but will always make you aware of them before beginning to clear away your junk.

- Arrange prompt pick up of all your junk simply by calling 0800 055 65 75.
How to pay
- We ask for payment at the time of collection.
- You can pay by debit or credit card - or by cheque, provided it’s accompanied by a cheque guarantee card.
- Alternatively, if you’re a business customer and open an account, we can invoice you by email for BACs payment on 28 day terms.
